Refugees International issued a field report dated 11 July 2013 by Caelin Briggs titled "
South Sudan: Protection and Assistance Challenges Demand a Firm Response." The report calls on the government of South Sudan to do a better job of protecting its own people, some of whom experience abuse at the hands of the SPLA.
