Ethiopia announced earlier this year plans to construct three more hydropower dams on the Blue Nile, where the recently completed Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam is located. This announcement has alarmed downstream Egypt. The author suggests the solution to the disagreement between Egypt and Ethiopia may be mediation.
