Six countries (US, Somalia, Qatar, Turkey, UK, and UAE) issued a "Joint Statement on Somalia" on 28 February 2023 expressing concern about the ongoing conflict in and around Lascanood in Somaliland. They called on all parties to accept a ceasefire.
