Essays on Sudan

The German Heinrich Boll Foundation just published a group of monographs on the situation in Sudan. The essays provide useful background to fast-moving developments in the Sudan. The volume includes contributions by Alex de Waal, a senior fellow of the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, Roland Marchal, a senior fellow at the Center for Scientific Research in Paris, Atta El-Battahani, senior adviser for the Sudan program of the International Institute for Democracy and Electoral Assistance, and John G. Nyuot Yoh, lecturer of African and international politics at the University of South Africa.
