Al-Shabaab and the Uganda bombings

Writing on July 16, 2010 for the International Relations and Security Network (ISN) in Switzerland, freelance journalist Georg-Sebastian Holzer provided some good analysis following al-Shabaab’s bombings in Uganda’s capital of Kampala. He rightly points out in "Al-Shabaab’s Regionalization Strategy" that foreign intervention has the tendency to exacerbate the problem. This warning applies equally to the engagement of foreigners with al-Shabaab.
