Importance of defining Sudan's North-South border

On Sept. 2, the International Crisis Group published a good analysis on the importance of defining the border between Northern and Southern Sudan before there is a referendum on the future of Southern Sudan.

Titled "Sudan: Defining the North-South Border," it emphasizes that the lack of a defined border has hindered the CPA implementation process, fueled mistrust between the agreement's two signatory parties and contributed to heightened anxiety along the border.
