Somalia Still Unsafe for Large-Scale Refugee Returns

World Politics Review ran on 8 October 2013 a brief Q and A with Anna Lindley, a specialist on migration at the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London, titled "Somalia Still Unsafe for Large-Scale Refugee Returns."

The author notes there are about 1 million Somalis registered as refugees, primarily in Kenya, Ethiopia and Yemen.  She argues that the situation in Somalia remains too dangerous for most of these refugees to return home.
