Ethiopia's President Studied in China and Was Ambassador to China

Ethiopia's new President, Mulatu Teshome, has a long connection with China.  During the 1970s, he studied under a Chinese government scholarship at Peking University and subsequently served as Ethiopia's ambassador to China.  A significant number of African leaders have studied in North America and Europe.  China has joined the list of countries educating African leaders.  On 5 April 2014, CCTV had an interview with President Mulatu on his experiences in China.
