Islamic Scripture Is Not the Problem

Foreign Affairs published in its July/August 2015 edition an article titled "Islamic Scripture Is Not the Problem: And Funding Muslim Reformers Is Not the Solution" by William McCants, director of the Project on US Relations with the Islamic World at Brookings.

McCants concludes that Somali author Hirsi Ali is profoundly wrong when she argues that Islamic Scripture causes Muslim terrorism and thus the US government should fund Muslim dissidents to reform Islam.
