Violent Extremism in the Horn of Africa

The Global Center on Cooperative Security, a registered charity in the United Kingdom, published in April 2016 a report titled "Violent Extremism and Instability in the Greater Horn of Africa" by Eelco Kessels, Tracey Durner, and Matthew Schwartz, all with the Global Center.

The report provides an overview of the drivers of violent extremism and related sources of insecurity in Djibouti, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda.
