The New York Times published on 25 January 2017 an article titled "A Bloody Reminder for Somalia: Chaos Is Never Far Away" by Jeffrey Gettleman.
The journalist and photographer were in Mogadishu at the time of the attack on the Dayah Hotel. The article includes particularly graphic photography by Tyler Hicks.
