The Environmental Justice Foundation has just released a report titled "Fear, Hunger and Violence: Human Rights in Ghana's Industrial Trawl Fleet."
An estimated 90 percent of Ghana's industrial fishing trawlers is beneficially owned by Chinese corporations but registered under the Ghanaian flag. This report looks at the exploitative and abusive practices of the fleet.
