The Atlantic published on 29 April 2021 a commentary titled "The Fleeting Promise of a Peaceful Ethiopia" by Hannah Giorgis, staff writer at The Atlantic.
The author concludes that it is difficult to envision the healing of the deep ethnic wounds that exist in Ethiopia. Soul searching of the national identity issue of being Ethiopian may be the only way forward.
