CNN posted on 3 June 2021 an article titled "Ethiopia Government Defends Actions in Tigray Region, Accuses Critics of 'Orchestrated Attack'" by Emmet Lyons, Arnaud Siad, and Ivana Kottasova.
Ethiopia accused critics of launching an "orchestrated attack that is condescending in nature; often patronising in tone; belligerent in approach and destructive in outcome." But except to say the government is trying to alleviate the suffering of "its citizens in the region" it offered no detailed response.
