Foreign Policy published on 15 November 2021 a commentary titled "How to Avert Catastrophe in Ethiopia" by Addisu Lashitew, McMaster University.
The author argues that the United States must apply as much pressure as it can to ensure that Ethiopia will remain a home to Tigrayans, as well as all other ethnic groups. The TPLF and Ethiopian government must be receptive to a peaceful solution; the alternative is unthinkable.
