The Associated Press published on 6 January 2022 an article titled "UN: Some Ethiopian Aid Will Stop Without Cash, Fuel and Food" by Edith M. Lederer.
The UN warns that the humanitarian situation is sharply deteriorating in Tigray Region due to the lack of supply trucks. Since 12 July 2021, only 12 percent of the required trucks have been able to reach Tigray.
