More than 10 percent of Sudan's population has been internally displaced because of internal conflict and more than a million Sudanese have fled the country. An estimated 19 million children are no longer attending school. UNICEF issued a report calling Sudan the "largest child displacement crisis in the world" with more than 3 million children forced to flee their homes.
