The article describes in detail the forcible takeover of the US Institute of Peace in Washington, removal of acting president George Moose, and firing of all 10 voting members of the organization's board--5 Democrats and 5 Republicans. The White House press secretary described USIP's ousted staff as "rogue bureaucrats."
