Kenya's New Constitution

The Institute for Security Studies in South Africa issued in February 2012 an analysis titled Kenya's New Constitution and Conflict Transformation. The paper analyses the ways in which sections of Kenya's new constitution, adopted in 2010, address the root causes of conflict. The paper identifies Kenya's root causes of conflict and examines how the new constitution provides for reforms on governance, democracy, human rights, ethnicity and resource sharing.
