Commentary on Kenya after Westgate Mall

Project Syndicate published two very different commentaries on the implications of the al-Shabaab attack on Westgate Mall in Nairobi.

The first is dated 28 September 2013 and titled "Beyond the Nairobi Massacre" by Michael Meyer, dean of the Graduate School of Media and Communications at the Aga Khan University in Nairobi. The second is dated 30 September 2013 and titled "Kenya's Somali Contradiction" by Ben Rawlence, an Open Society Fellow.
