Huawei Technologies in Africa

Good Governance Africa published in September 2013 a brief analysis on the role of China's Huawei Technologies, the world's second largest telecommunications company after Sweden's Ericsson, titled "China's Eyes and Ears in Africa" by Richard Poplak.  The article discusses the degree to which Huawei may share information with the government of China.
