Chinese Scholar Reminisces on Teaching African Students
One of China's leading African studies scholars, Li Anshan of Peking University, recollected some of his experiences teaching African students in China in an article he wrote for www.china.com.cn, which was translated and posted on The ChinaAfrica Project. There is a long history of Africans studying in Europe and North America and then returning to Africa to assume prominent positions in government and the private sector. We are now beginning to see this happen with African students who studied in China.
