The Washington-based Atlantic Council published on 7 November 2014 a commentary titled "Somalia's Slumping Fortunes" by Bronwyn Bruton, Atlantic Council.  She offers a negative analysis of the future of both al-Shabaab and the Somali Transitional Federal Government.
