South Sudan's War Economy
The Enough Project published on 15 December 2015 an in-depth study titled "Deadly Enterprise: Dismantling South Sudan's War Economy and Countering Potential Spoilers" by Justine Fleischner. It is based on field research and focuses on the dynamics of profit and power fueling the war in South Sudan. It lays out the main sources of financing used by the government of South Sudan and the SPLA-In Opposition. It concludes with a series of recommendations.
