Every year since 1991, China's foreign minister has made his first overseas trip to a country in Africa. This January, Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit Egypt, Djibouti, Eritrea, Burundi, and Zimbabwe. High on the agenda will be China's Belt and Road Initiative.
