The Council on Foreign Relations published a blog post titled "Simmering Tensions Come to a Boil in Ethiopia's Tigray Region" by Michelle Gavin.
The author urges both parties to cease hostilities and help free both the central government and Tigray People's Liberation Front from the trap of having delegitimized each other so that they may forge a path to productive dialogue.
