On 16 April, Eritrea sent a letter to the UN Security Council protesting US and UN briefings on the role of Eritrean Defense Forces in the invasion of Tigray Region and the atrocities they committed against civilians. The letter effectively confirms Eritrea's violation of Ethiopian sovereignty.
