The Africa Report published on 4 February 2022 a commentary titled "South Sudan's Oil Sector Needs to Become More Transparent" by Alan Boswell.
The author argues that international donors and the International Monetary Fund need to put more pressure on South Sudan officials to account for oil revenue that they routinely siphon off for their own purposes.
