Amnesty International published on 16 February 2022 a report titled "Ethiopia: Summary Killings, Rape and Looting by Tigrayan Forces in Amhara."
Amnesty International reports that Tigrayan forces showed utter disregard for fundamental rules of international humanitarian law. Evidence is mounting of a pattern of Tigrayan forces committing war crimes and possible crimes against humanity in areas under their control in Amhara region from July 2021 onwards.
