Russia, Joined only by Eritrea, Increasingly Isolated at the UN

The Associated Press published on 4 March 2022 an article titled "Russia's Isolation over Ukraine War Grows at UN Human Rights Body."

Thirty-two of the 47 members of the UN Human Rights Council voted in favor of a resolution to establish a three-member panel of experts to monitor human rights in Ukraine.  Thirteen states, including China, abstained.  The only country to support Russia in opposing the resolution was Eritrea.  Most countries spoke out against Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
