Uganda's New Vision published on 27 August 2022 an article titled "China to Support Digital Media Development in Africa" by Nelson Kiva.
China recently hosted the Fifth Forum on China-Africa Media Cooperation. It was a hybrid virtual/in person event in Beijing attended by representatives from 42 African countries and the African Union. This account summarizes the results of the forum from the standpoint of a Ugandan journalist. Since China established the forum 10 years ago, it has trained more than 3,000 media personalities from Africa.
