The head of the World Health Organization (WHO), who is an Ethiopian from Tigray Region, spoke publicly about the "unimaginable cruelty" inflicted on fellow Tigrayans over the past two years.
Comment: The government of Ethiopia complained that he took advantage of his position at WHO to criticize the government and called his comments "unethical."
