The Voice of America published on 3 October 2022 an article titled "Ethiopia Tigray Rebels Withdraw from Parts of Amhara" by Fred Harter.
The Tigray People's Liberation Front announced that Tigrayan Defense Forces are withdrawing from parts of neighboring Amhara Region to the south in order to counter an "invasion" from Eritrea in the north.
