Afrobarometer recently published its "Perceived Positive Influence: U.S. vs China for 28 African Countries 2021/2022."
An equal 49 percent of respondents in 28 African countries were somewhat positive or very positive about the economic and political influence of both the US and China. These percentages are lower, however, for both countries compared to previous polls.
