The International Crisis Group (ICG) published on 20 April 2023 a commentary titled "Stopping Sudan's Descent into Full-blown Civil War."
The ICG is calling on all Sudanese and outside countries and organizations that have influence with the Sudan Armed Forces and/or the Rapid Support Forces to demand they agree to a ceasefire, especially during the Eid al-Fitr celebration marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
