Reuters published on 11 June 2023 an article titled "Fighting Rages in Sudan's Capital after 24-hour Truce Expires" by Khalid Abdelaziz and Mohamed Nureldin.
Following a 24-hour ceasefire, heavy fighting broke out in the Khartoum capital region between the Sudan Armed Forces and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces. Fighting also occurred in Darfur and North Kordofan regions.
