The Washington Post published on 9 June 2023 an article titled "Sudan's Rapid Decline into War Evokes Somalia's Catastrophic Collapse" by Katharine Houreld and Hafiz Haroun.
The article suggests that what is happening in Sudan today looks like Somalia of several years ago. Parts of Khartoum are beginning to resemble Mogadishu. Sudan seems to be headed for state collapse.
