In a 4 August phone call with Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken emphasized the need for immediate implementation of the Pretoria Agreement, including the withdrawal of all foreign forces from Ethiopia and concurrent disarmament of Tigrayan forces.
