The Voice of America published on 30 December 2022 an article titled "Eritrean Forces Begin Withdrawal as Ethiopia, Tigray Peace Agreement Holds" by Mohammed Yusuf.
Some Eritrean forces began to withdraw from Tigray Region on 29 December although it is not clear when all of them will return to Eritrea.
Amnesty International posted on 14 April 2021 a press release titled "Ethiopia: Three Killed, 19 Injured in Tigray as Eritrean Troops Open Fire on Civilians."
Amnesty said it can confirm that Eritrean Defense Forces killed three people and injured at least nineteen in an unprovoked attack on civilians in the center of Adwa town on 12 April. Amnesty called for an international investigation of this and other allegations of human rights violations, including war crimes, in Tigray.
