Chinese Medical Teams in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

The China Africa Research Initiative at Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies published in October 2017 a policy brief titled "Chinese Medical Teams in the DRC: A Comparative Case Study" by Xiaoxiao Jiang Kwete, a research associate at Harvard's T.H. Chan School of Public Health.

The paper describes the operations of the Chinese medical team in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and compares it with the program of Medicins sans Frontieres (MSF), suggesting that the Chinese teams could learn from the MSF model.
