Education in Somalia
Finland's Afrikan Sarvi recently published an article titled "Education Despite Itself" by Abdinur Mohamud, Somali Minister of Education from 2010 to 2011 and now a consultant with the Ohio Department of Education. The article is a history of education in Somalia and includes sections on Qur'anic schools, government schools, and the quality and relevance of education.
