Impact of US Recognition of Somalia on Somaliland

The Somaliland Sun asked me to respond to questions concerning the impact on Somaliland of the U.S. formal recognition of the new Somali government.  The paper published my response in its 21 January 2013 edition in an article called Somaliland: Country Urged to Enhance Democratization Process.
