South Sudanese Displaced Not Likely to Return Home Soon

Refugees International published on 29 November 2018 a report titled "Displaced Nation: The Dangerous Implications of Rushed Returns in South Sudan" by Daniel P. Sullivan.

Nearly 4.5 million South Sudanese have been forcibly displaced from their homes since civil war broke out in 2013. Talk of large-scale returns to their homes in the wake of the most recent peace agreement is premature. In fact, rushed returns risk fueling ethnic tensions and costing lives as authorities actively manipulate aid efforts.
