Sierra Leone has launched the new Sierra Leone Ocean Shipping Company in partnership with China's Zhejiang Xiehai Group, which holds a 70 percent stake in the joint venture. The state-owned Sierra Leone National Shipping Agency owns the remaining 30 percent. The company plans to build a fleet of 50 vessels.
