Approaching the End of the Somali Transition

The Somali Transitional Federal Government (TFG) comes to an end on 20 August 2012 and will be followed by a new government selected by the National Constituent Assembly, which is made up of 825 Somali representatives.

  1. Te tough part is ahead! What led Somalia to distruction in the first place was the war in the 1980's against SNM the founders of Somaliland. This is never discussed despite the "Report of the AU Fact-Finding Mission to Somaliland. (April 30 to May 4, 2005)."

    To make matters worst, the new "Somalia Kids on the Block" I mean the new generation of leaders such as Sheik Shariff didn't get the history lessons of what Somaliland stands for.
