China, Africa and Technology Transfer

Linda Nordling wrote a short but important piece on 2 August 2012 for Environmental-Expert.com on China's role in technology transfer to Africa. It emphasizes the significance of technology transfer for Africa. Her comments could apply, of course, to other "developed" countries (China insists it is still a developing country) engaged in Africa. Because China's interaction with Africa has become so major in the past decade, it is perhaps appropriate to single out China.
