On 8 April 2013 I addressed the Cosmopolitan Club in Manhattan on the topic of "China and Africa: Challenges and Predictions." After making a series of assumptions about the future of China and Africa, I tried to predict the nature of the China-Africa relationship during the Xi Jinping era.
