South Sudan: Reconciling the SPLM and the AU Commission of Inquiry

The Institute for Security Studies (ISS) in Pretoria recently published two commentaries on South Sudan.  The first dated 29 April 2014 and titled "The AU Commission of Inquiry on South Sudan: A Stronger Commitment to Accountability?" is by Teboho  Moleko and Amanda Lucey, both at ISS.  The second dated 30 April 2014 is titled "Ramaphosa's Inverse Logic in South Sudan" by Peter Fabricius, foreign editor of South Africa's Independent Newspapers.  The focus is on efforts to reconcile the various factions of the South Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM).
