China's Growing Security Presence in Africa
The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) published on 3 December 2014 a commentary titled "Why China Tripled Its Military Presence in Africa" by Sean J. Li, an intern at CFR. As more Chinese go to Africa, citizen protection poses a growing challenge for the Chinese government. There are also opportunities for collaboration with the West in mitigating crises in Africa.
