Somalia after Piracy

The South African Institute of International Affairs (SAIIA) published on 27 September 2015 a commentary titled "Beyond Naval Interventions in Somali Piracy" by Joana Ama Osei-Tutu, SAIIA visiting fellow.

Now that Somali piracy has nearly ended, the author comments on the need to ensure that coastal Somalis have the ability to fish in Somali territorial waters and that the international community steps in to help prevent illegal foreign fishing.
